Liverpool full back Jose Enrique has admitted that several clubs have contacted his agent about moving away from Anfield.

The 30 year old is fit but has been out of favour under both current manager Jurgen Klopp and previous coach Brendan Rodgers, and the Spaniard told Spanish newspaper Marca that there are teams interested in him:

“I do not know if they have submitted an offer, but I think that several clubs have contacted my agent about next season. I focus on playing. I have high morale, I feel very good physically, and continue training as usual and I am eager to play. I know that in football you find these situations.”

Enrique has played just three times this season, all in the FA Cup. He started both matches at centre half against Exeter City in the third round and appeared as a substitute in the 0-0 home draw against West Ham United in the fourth round. The Reds went out of the competition in the replay, losing in extra time.

The left back was signed for £7million from Newcastle back in 2011 and was a regular in his first two seasons at the club. Injuries and poor form has meant he has had very little game time in the last few years.
