Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has remained coy on reports linking him with a move for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling.

Reports on Monday evening have claimed that Sterling will call time on his Anfield career later this week when he sits down with boss Brendan Rodgers.

Manchester City have been strongly linked with the England international, whilst Arsenal have also been lingering in the background with interest.

However, when asked about a possible summer move for the winger, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger remained coy on such reports.

Wenger told reporters: “At the moment we are not in transfer mode. We want to finish well our season … We have to focus to finish well.

“I do not bid for anybody at the moment. In the summer I will bid for people, yes, but at the moment we are not in transfer mode at all. I don’t like to lie.”
