Burnley striker Danny Ings is set to turn down interest from David Moyes and Real Sociedad in favour of joining Liverpool in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 22-year-old has fired nine Premier League goals this season, and was linked with a move to Anfield in January.

Former Manchester United boss Moyes is also keen to bring the striker to Spain, and was said to have moved into pole position to complete the deal with a contract offer worth £60,000 a week.

However, Ings is said to have his heart set on a move to Anfield when his contract at Turf Moore expires at the end of the season.

The Reds will have to pay in the region of £6million to Burnley in compensation as the player is under the age of 23, whilst La Liga rules mean Sociedad would have only had to pay £300,000.

Tottenham, Manchester City and most recently Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the forward, but Ings is eager to move to Anfield having been courted by the Reds in January.
