Liverpool are planning a summer move for Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile according to the Daily Star.

The 24-year-old has struggled since his move from Torino in the summer, with seven goals in 21 appearances so far this season.

In what has been a nightmare season for Jurgen Klopp’s side, the German’s are reportedly willing to let Immobile leave for the right price this summer in the hope of funding a move for a new striker.

The Italian was identified by Brendan Rodgers as a target in the summer whilst the Reds were on the hunt for a replacement for Luis Suarez, and reports in Germany suggest the club will reignite their interest in the summer.
