Liverpool have fitness concerns over Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling, and Adam Lallana ahead of Tottenham’s visit to Anfield tomorrow evening.

Sterling and Coutinho were both taken off in Saturday’s Merseyside derby with foot and knee problems respectively, whilst Lallana did not make the squad having been injured in the FA Cup replay at Bolton last week.

Rodger says the key trio will all undergo fitness tests at Melwood today, and is hopeful they will be fit for the clash with their fellow top four contenders.

“Phil Coutinho had a knock on his knee and Raheem had a knock on his foot,” said the Reds boss. “We had fresh players on the bench to bring on and hopefully they will be fit for Tuesday.

On Lallana, Rodgers said: “We need to see how he is but he has a big possibility for Tuesday.”
