Liverpool are prepraring a £7.5million January bid for Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, according to the Daily Mirror.

Brendan Rodgers is starting to plan for life without Steven Gerrard, after the Liverpool captain revealed he would be leaving the club at the end of the season only last week.

And with midfielder Delph refusing to sign a new contract with Paul Lambert’s side, a £7.5million bid should be enough to secure his services given Villa do not want to risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.

Inter Milan are keen to sign Reds midfielder Lucas Leiva this month, meaning a move for Delph could well happen sooner than expected.

The 25-year-old has recently forced his way into Roy Hodgson’s England squad, whilst his versatility would make the former Leeds man a welcome addition to Brendan Rodgers squad.

New song for Lazar Markovic this is based on him being a Wizard. I thought his name sounded like a magicians but then decided because everybody was saying he hadn’t made it yet that he was on ilusionist however prior to his goal on Saturday he established the status of Wizard and then it dawned on me after the goal he was a wizard and he produces magic.

So his song based on the ELO song Oh Oh its Magic.

    Oh ho ho its magic,

    You know

When Markovic scors you a goal

    Its magic you know

    Markovic scores you a goal

    So magic

    Markovic scores you a goal.

Lets get them singing this one for the Wizard.
