Mario Balotelli has rejected the chance to leave Liverpool this January, after Greek giants Olympiakos offered to sign the striker on loan for the remainder of the season – and pay his wages in full.

Balotelli has been a major disappointment for the Reds since signing from AC Milan in the summer, having yet to score in 11 Premier League games, whilst not starting since the 1-2 defeat to Chelsea in November.

Reports from Italy suggest Balotelli has no interest in cutting his Liverpool career short however despite Olympiakos showing an interest.

However, some reports suggest Paris St Germain are also interested in the 24-year-old – something Balotelli may well consider should the French champions make an offer.
