Premier League clubs are monitoring Luis Suarez’s situation at Barcelona according to widespread reports, with the Uruguayan set to become a victim of the current turmoil at the Nou Camp.

Liverpool have been joined by rivals Manchester United and Arsenal in monitoring the Suarez situation, following the dismissal of sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and the resignation of his assistant Carles Puyol.

Suarez has struggled to recapture the form that made him a Liverpool hero, with just three goals in 12 appearances since his controversial summer move.

Suarez did not make a first team appearance since October 26 following his ban for a bite at the summer’s World Cup, and the 27-year-old sits behind Neymar and Lionel Messi in the Barcelona pecking order.

Although Barcelona have no intention of selling Suarez yet, he could be the fall guy in the summer under a new regime at the Nou Camp, with Liverpool and their Premier League rivals set to monitor the situation closely over the next five months.
