Norweigan starlet Martin Odegaard spent some time visiting and training at Liverpool’s Melwood base on Thursday, as the 15-year-old considers his next move.

The teenager is one of the hottest properties in all of Europe, and has already visited clubs the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United amongst others.

Odegaard is a self confessed Liverpool fan however, and will be able to sign his first professional contract when he turns 16 on December 17.

He was accompanied on his trip to Liverpool by his father, who is also a fan of the Reds. Odegaard was given a tour of Anfield and shown the facilities at Melwood, with some reports suggesting he took part in a trial.

“Liverpool have always been my dream club,” Odegaard said last month. “But I will not let this affect my decision when I choose a new club.

“It’s all about finding the team that is best for me and for my development. That is not necessarily Liverpool.”

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is aware of the youngster’s quality.

Speaking last month he said: “I know he’s a big talent, at that age to be playing senior football at 15 and in a competitive league.

“He’s got wonderful ability and wonderful talent.”
