Alberto Moreno is the latest Liverpool star who could be punished for his posting on social media, after the Spaniard aimed a dig at Chelsea yesterday.

The summer signing from Sevilla posted an image of him and teammate Suso with the caption: Look Alberto, that’s Chelsea’s history – on which the 22-year-old had written: ‘You ain’t got no history!’

The image was posted on Moreno’s Facebook page – which has almost 55,000 followers, and recieved several hundred likes before the Spaniard was advised to remove it.

The incident comes just hours after Mario Balotelli found himself in trouble with the FA for a social media post of Ninentdo character Super Mario, with the words: “jumps like a black man and grabs coins like a jew”.

Liverpool are known to have given their players social media guidance as a matter of policy, a fact that was reinforced in the wake of Balotelli’s misdemeanour.

The Italian forward has since  apologised and said he will contest any charge, on Tuesday. It remains to be seen how the club responds to the post of Moreno however.
