Brendan Rodgers insists he is ‘comfortable’ with Liverpool coming under investigation from UEFA for a breach of the Financial Fair Play rules, reports the Independent.

The Reds have been asked to submit further information on their accounts, having made unacceptable losses over the past two seasons.

But the club are confident a large chunk of the losses can be written off as stadium expenditure, and the boss seemed in a relaxed mood about the situation at his pre-match press conference today.

Rodgers said: “It’s obviously something that will be dealt with by the directors. It’s something we’re comfortable with because we’re great advocates of financial fair play. It’s ongoing with the club.”
