John W. Henry is something of a character compared to other football club owners – and anyone who follows him on Twitter will surely agree.

The Liverpool owner famously put down Arsenal via his social media account during the Luis Suarez transfer saga of 2013, with the classic: “What are they smoking at the Emirates?”

And Henry has been back on Twitter again, this time with either a hint, or a sarcastic tweet on Liverpool’s January transfer intentions.

Marco Reus was heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the summer, and although Liverpool never made a bid – Henry seems to be a big fan.

That is judging by his tweet of: “Oh, and sign Reus!” from last night.

Should this be taken with a pinch of salt, or is this a genuine hint from John W. Henry? Let us know your thoughts.
