Jordan Henderson has suffered an injury during training with England, according to the Express.
The 23-year-old midfielder is understood to have limped out of the session at St Jakob’s Park on Sunday with an ankle knock, and is a doubt for England’s match with Switzerland tonight.
James Milner is expected to cover in his absence, however Liverpool now face a nervous wait to discover the extent of the injury.
The Reds already suffered a blow this weekend, as Daniel Sturridge suffered a thigh injury whilst on duty with England.
Sturridge will miss tonight’s clash, and is a doubt for Liverpool’s clash with Aston Villa next weekend.
