One of the strangest stories of the summer just had to involve Liverpool FC didn’t it?
The Liverpool Echo are amongst those reporting that pop princess Rihanna – or ‘RiRi’ as some call her – enjoyed her time at the World Cup so much that she wants to invest in a football club – and the Reds are her number one choice.
The singer spent the summer attending matches in Brazil, and wasn’t shy of documenting her time on social media.
She even managed to get a snap HOLDING the World Cup trophy and getting pecks on the cheeks from various members of the German winning side.
There have been reports since Rihanna is looking to invest in her own football academy’s in her native Barbados, before branching into football ownership.
And reports emerging from Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reckons the club she is most interested in is Liverpool…
She may be a bit nicer to look at than John W.Henry, but the current Liverpool owner has given no indication he is interested in selling..
Maybe she’s just ‘talking that talk’ again… See what I did there?
