Pepe Reina has completed his move to Bayern Munich, according to LiverpoolFC.com.

The 31-year-old has signed a permanent contract with the Bundesliga champions, bringing an end to his eight year Liverpool career.

Reina leaves the club with an FA Cup and League Cup winners medal, whilst he was also an integral part of the Liverpool side that reached the Champions League final in 2007.

Reina achieved a club record 11 consecutive clean sheets in all competitions during his first season at Anfield, whilst his record of 28 clean sheets in his first 50 league matches was also made it into the record books.

In 2008, Reina was awarded the Barclays Golden Glove award for the third consecutive season, after keeping the most clean sheets over the course of the Premier League season.

The Spaniard was voted the clubs player of the season during the 2009-10 season, and leaves the club with a total of 394 appearances.

Should Pepe Reina have been allowed to leave? Would you rather have had him as number one ahead of Simon Mignolet? Let us know your thoughts below.
