Premier League star wants to join Liverpool
Aston Villa’s captain, Stiliyan Petrov, would relish the opportunity to play for the club he has always supported, Liverpool.
This news will not be met very well by Aston Villa fans, I can imagine how I would feel if Steven Gerrard comes out and says he would want to play for someone else!
“I’d swap with any Liverpool player because I’m a Liverpool fan,” Petrov told Match of the Day Magazine.
“It’d be great to have that experience. But sometimes dreams don’t come true.
“I’ve been a Liverpool fan since a young boy.”
But would we want Petrov at Liverpool? There is no doubt he is a talented player who would provide us with experience but he is already 32-years-old and I can not see Liverpool signing such an old player.

not all Liverpool fans got to play for the Club, and i think he is not good enough to play for Liverpool but if we can get him for free he will be a good back up player.
