Monday Rumour: Emmanuel Adebayor to Liverpool?

Nov 28, 11 Monday Rumour: Emmanuel Adebayor to Liverpool?

The transfer rumour mill is really going into overdrive now! The latest speculation has Liverpool linked with a move for Emmanuel Adebayor. It is easy to forget that Adebayor is still a Manchester City player and is only on loan at Tottenham having spent the end of last season at Real Madrid.

There is no doubt that Adebayor is a good striker with premier League experience but is he the right kind of player we need at Liverpool?

It is being suggested that Dalglish is an admirer on the Togo striker and will compete with Spurs to sign him on a permanent deal as we look to add more firepower to our strike force.

Would Emmanuel Adebayor be a good signing for Liverpool?

Good player, but to be honest it seems he’s more happy “getting paid” then putting in work towards the big picture. LFC is all about the big picture. If Adebayor was to go through what Andy is going through he would blame everyone but himself and ask for a loan move to the next big money team. Id rather we pick someone who’s just as explosive but less self absorbed

I doubt very much Spurs would sell him. They only sell players like Robbie Keane to us for 30 million pounds. It sulks.

  5. that’s a tape of striker that we need.

Though his attitude sucks, he’s a quality & proven Premier League striker. Hope we can sign him though. Still remember when we had the chance to sign Cantona, but Souness didn’t want him because of his ‘attitude’ problem. Truly our loss and Leeds’ gain.
