Suarez welcomes Coates to Liverpool

Luis Suarez has tweeted a welcome to Liverpool’s new signing Sebastian Coates. Suarez said:
“I want to welcome Coates, partner in the uruguayan team, friend and great player who just signed for Liverpool! WELCOME!”

No official word has come out from Liverpool with regards to this transfer but we can expect to hear the news any time now as Coates underwent his medical today and discussed personal terms with the club.

The delay in this transfer was due to it being a Bank Holiday yesterday (Monday) but now all seems to have been resolved.

So we can take it that Suarez broke the news first about the arrival of Coates to Liverpool. Welcome Sebastian!
