Midfielder will not be leaving Liverpool
There has been speculation this Tuesday that Lucas may be ready to leave Liverpool this summer as he fears he will not get as much game time as he did last season due to the arrivals of Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam. But when I heard of this rumour, I laughed it off as I could not see Liverpool selling their best player from last season.
ESPNsoccernet.com are reporting that Liverpool will not be selling Lucas this summer. They are saying that a source at Liverpool said, “There is nothing to say about this. It is rubbish”.
Rubbish is exactly what to call this speculation. A quick visit to Lucas’ twitter page shows the Brazilian’s latest tweet saying:
“Last few days in Brazil then come back to Liverpool and start training again.Looking forward to meet my team mates.”
