What a game, what a result, what a goal! I am still on Cloud 9 following Liverpool’s win against Chelsea yesterday. Raul Meireles scored the winner for Liverpool yesterday with a well taken left footed strike following a Steven Gerrard cross. In all honesty, Raul’s goal should have been our second of the game after Maxi missed a sitter in the first half. But we will forget about Maxi’s miss for now and enjoy Raul’s winner. That was not an easy finish for Raul but he took is superbly. One can just see how much confidence a player can get from scoring. Now it seems like Raul is going to score in every single game after scoring his first goal for Liverpool.

Raul’s goal yesterday made it 4 goals in 5 games for the Portguese player. Out of all the wrong things Roy Hodgson did at Liverpool, I thank him for signing Meireles!
