I agree wholeheartedly about what Parry would have done. There is less than a snowball's chance in hell that he would have gotten us the best deal available in any case. Let's tip the cap where the captipping is due, and that is in the fact that at least it seems our owners are interested in finally attempting to put our finances to rights.
We're paying off a significant amount of the debt, as well as increasing our revenues to record levels. As unfortunate as the situation will remain forever with them at the helm, kudos from me that they are at least not just letting us twist in the wind anymore. Sell off the American franchises cause no one wants you here either and fix our club so you can sell it for a profit and move on. The sooner the better for everyone involved.

I am also over the moon to hear the news of our new shirt sponsorship deal. this is a definite move in the right directions. Hopeful this is a sign of more to come.

My understanding is that this is at least equal to if not more than what Man U got on their new deal with Prudential. So we are now playing in the right regions. Though i can not substantiate this I know we should have the most fans worldwide (definitely the best ones in any case).

I have my doubts about the amount Rafa will have access to. If the owners can guarantee our creditors a £20Million annual payment it might get us better terms and reduce our interest burden. That could be a better outcome than players. I think the owners must bear the cost of "capital expenditure" which is what players essentially are to a football club.

The business in this current state should be self-sustaining. The profits should fund operational expenses and any upscaling should come out of capital.

Mr. Christian Purslow has started of in good form. I hope he can keep his business objectivity. It's great having a staunch fan as Managing director but it's a business at the end of the day. I understand Purslow is a fan but lets hope not as fanatical as Mr. Parry. I would like to note that Mr. Parry was not all bad but change can be refreshing and bring new growth.
