Is Yossi Benayoun on the way out?

Reports this morning are suggesting that Yossi is not happy with playing a bit-part role for Liverpool and wants to be playing more soon or else he will leave the club. It is clear to see where Yossi is coming from, he clearly wants to be playing more than just coming off the bench. I am sure every single player at the club wants to start every game but there are only eleven places up for grabs and about 30 players vying for those eleven places.

In seasons gone by, Rafa used his rotation policy and a lot of players were getting games, but this season Rafa seems to have opted to field a familiar looking eleven every match day and thus the fringe players are not getting games. I for one am happy to see that Rafa has slowed down on his rotation policy and the positive signs of this are being seen in our current league position.

I am a great fan of Yossi, he is a very intelligent player and can provide that moment of brilliance to unlock a team. I would not want to see him leave but if he wants to then he should go. No point keeping a player who does not want to play for the team.
