Well , well, well, it looks like it was the stats in the bin choice on Saturday would have been the correct call and thanks Liverpool for proving me wrong with a superb performance and win. The only question I have is, why did we have to watch the crap so far when you have the ability to play like that. Why did it have to take ManU to visit before starting to show what we are made of. This is why we do not challenge for the title. On our day we can compete with the best but then go and lose or have stupid draws with lesser teams which over the season cause us to fall out of contention. Please, please please have the consistency this season, I know we can do it, it's just up to yourselves as a squad to believe and hopefully what you did on Saturday will give you that belief..

As Shanks once said -

A lot of football success is in the mind. You must believe you are the best and then make sure that you are. In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside, Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.

Brilliant result. It's more than just three points. The team now have real belief that this can be our season. Mascherano and Alonso were Boss yesterday.
And the Kop was amazing. The whole Anfield was amazing. I could feel the great atmosphere through the Tv!
Walk on....Walk on...

I am only starting to come back down to earth on Sunday morning. What a game what a result! I decided not go go out to a big gathering to watch this one especially one which had Man U supporters so I decided to stay home and watch it with a couple of Arsenal fans. I am still ecstatic!!!!

I watched with about 2 dozen people, 90% of whom were cheering the appropriate set of Reds. The table of Scum had to eat it.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of watching this game with a Manchester United fan and after 20 minutes of pain and listening to him talk about MANfield, I got to shove it in his face. Big Ups to the boys in red. I think Reira will be amazing on the left, but we need to get rid of Arbeloa and Kuyt. Sell them off and get some funds. Keane was pretty good and Babel, well Babel was just amazing bc of that goal. I thought Skrtel and co in the back held very firm for 88 minutes.
