Robbie Keane has medical

It is reported that Robbie Keane had his medical today at Melwood ahead of his move to Liverpool. I am not sure if it is only me, but I am really excited about the prospect of Robbie Keane joining Liverpool. To be honest, Robbie is not a player I had that we would sign at the beginning of the summer. His name had not even crossed my mind as I was thinking more along the lines of David Villa and David Silva. But when the name Keane got banned around I actually thought that would be a descent signing and a great partner for Torres. Keane and Torres on paper looks like a lethal combination but only time will tell how great the partnership is on the field. The quicker Keane signs the earlier Keane and Torres can start to understand each other. Hopefully the next mention of Robbie Keane on Our Kop will be an official announcement that he has signed for Liverpool.
